The English language, like other human languages, is akin to mathematics. 3. Lastly, language usually operates in a social setting. It is the basis of all communication, and defines our desires, fears, aspirations and beliefs. Our ability to communicate makes us who we are, and can be used to build trust, collaboration, influence and consensus. Communication is too important for any career-conscious individual to ignore. It must be practised, refined, perfected and enjoyed.
